We are seeking an experienced, motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking Audiologist to join our thriving practice full-time as Director of Audiology. This leadership position is responsible for leading and overseeing all audiology services across the organization focusing on clinical excellence, operational efficiency, team development, and enhancing the overall patient experience. The Director ensures high-quality, evidence-based audiologic care is delivered in alignment with organizational goals, while also driving innovation, standardization, and integration with ENT services.

Education Requirements, License & Certification Requirements

  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree required.
  • Missouri audiology license (or eligibility) required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of clinical audiology experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor clinical teams
  • Strong knowledge of audiology diagnostics, hearing aid technology, and best practices in patient care
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience in ENT or multi-specialty practice settings preferred
  • Proficient in interpreting and leveraging clinical and operational data

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of audiology services across all locations
  • Supervise, support, and mentor audiology staff, ensuring clinical excellence and professional development
  • Standardize audiology protocols, workflows, and documentation for consistency and quality of care
  • Collaborate with ENT physicians and other departments to coordinate integrated patient care
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Manage audiology equipment and technology, including calibration, upgrades, and procurement
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of audiologists and audiology assistants
  • Participate in strategic planning, expansion of services, and program development
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing standards (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, state licensure)
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement data-driven improvements
  • Serve as a resource for complex audiologic cases and assist with patient care as needed
  • Represent the audiology department in leadership meetings and cross-functional initiatives

Typical Physical Demands

This position may require standing for extended periods, walking between departments, and using diagnostic audiology equipment. Normal visual acuity and hearing are required. Occasionally may lift and carry equipment or supplies up to 20 pounds.

Standard Working Conditions

Work is performed in a medical office and clinical setting. May require travel between practice locations. Occasional evening or weekend responsibilities may arise for events, outreach, or operational needs.
