Front Desk Receptionist

Very busy ENT/Otolaryngology practice is seeking full-time and part-time seasoned professional Front Desk Receptionists. The primary duties of this position includes for checking patients in and out, prepping patients' charts for the schedule, verifying eligibility and obtaining referrals, answering phones, scheduling appointments and follow-up appointments, and maintaining the appearance of the reception area. The ideal candidate is able to work as a member of the team and will have a polite, pleasant and helpful demeanor with extensive customer service skills. As this position is the “first impression” for our patients, it is imperative that this person be knowledgeable when dealing with questions regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, voice problems, etc. The ideal candidate will also thrive in a very professional, fast-paced medical practice as a key member of a large team.

Additional duties not listed above may also be required. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years customer service experiences. 2 years medical setting and/or medical assistant experience preferred. Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency and knowledge of Centricity Practice Management is a plus.

Surgery Scheduler

A very busy Sound Health ENT/Otolaryngology practice is hiring a surgery scheduler for a full time position with benefits. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years experience in a surgical medical practice and excellent communication skills with patients and staff. The ideal candidate will thrive in a very professional, fast-paced medical practice as a key member of a large team.

Duties include scheduling and precertification of all surgical and ancillary procedures/tests; collecting and posting surgery deposits and co-pays; managing monthly tracking reports of surgeries performed; maintaining scheduling templates within practice management; attending regular organizational meeting and continuing educational sessions; performing additional duties as requested. Registered Medical Assistant

A very busy Sound Health ENT/Otolaryngology practice is hiring a registered medical assistant for a full time position with benefits. 2 to 5 years experience is required and the candidate MUST be a registered medical assistant. This is a very busy position with varied hours; your schedule must be flexible. We’re looking for a detail oriented loyal person who can multitask. You should be comfortable working directly with patients while showing compassion and providing quality care. You must be comfortable with medical procedures.
