Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Busy otolaryngology surgical office is seeking a full-time Medical Front Desk Receptionist. We are looking for someone that is detail oriented and has excellent customer service and organizational skills. Scheduled days are Monday thru Friday.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet and check in/check out patients
  • Answer and return patient phone calls
  • Collect and enter patient information
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as needed
  • Collect and record patient payments

Qualified candidates will have at least two (2) years of customer service experience in the medical industry and a minimum of two (2) years of EMR experience.

Wage commiserates with experience.

Practice Manager

Highly respected, fast paced specialty Physician group is seeking a full-time Practice Manager with proven success in medical day-to-day operations, personnel management, and financial management of multiple sites.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Maintain credentialing for physicians and other providers
  • Maintain accounts payable
  • Monitor medical billing and accounts receivable
  • Respond to and resolve patient requests and/or complaints
  • Hiring, training, and supervision of staff
  • Monitor and submit semi-monthly payroll

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, five (5) years of direct healthcare management preferably in a physician office setting, strong financial skills including the understanding of medical payments and adjustments, and excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

QuickBooks experience preferred but not required.

Medical Telephone Operator

Sound Health Services is looking for a full-time medical telephone operator. Job duties include answering a multi-line telephone system and scheduling for multiple doctors. Centralized scheduling experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills are a must.

Bookkeeper

Large ENT physician group is currently seeking a full-time Bookkeeper who is proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. This position is responsible for accounting and record keeping functions such as billing, receivables, monthly reconciliation and other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience; neat, professional appearance; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency; and strong written and oral communication skills. Experience and knowledge of Otolaryngology and Audiology terminology is desired, but not required. This position involves sitting in one place for long periods of time. Normal visual acuity and hearing are required.

Front Desk Receptionist

Very busy ENT/Otolaryngology practice is seeking full-time and part-time seasoned professional Front Desk Receptionists. The primary duties of this position includes for checking patients in and out, prepping patients' charts for the schedule, verifying eligibility and obtaining referrals, answering phones, scheduling appointments and follow-up appointments, and maintaining the appearance of the reception area. The ideal candidate is able to work as a member of the team and will have a polite, pleasant and helpful demeanor with extensive customer service skills. As this position is the “first impression” for our patients, it is imperative that this person be knowledgeable when dealing with questions regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, voice problems, etc. The ideal candidate will also thrive in a very professional, fast-paced medical practice as a key member of a large team.

Additional duties not listed above may also be required. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years customer service experiences. 2 years medical setting and/or medical assistant experience preferred. Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency and knowledge of Centricity Practice Management is a plus.

Registered Medical Assistant

A very busy Sound Health ENT/Otolaryngology practice is hiring a registered medical assistant for a full time position with benefits. 2 to 5 years experience is required and the candidate MUST be a registered medical assistant. This is a very busy position with varied hours; your schedule must be flexible. We’re looking for a detail oriented loyal person who can multitask. You should be comfortable working directly with patients while showing compassion and providing quality care. You must be comfortable with medical procedures.

Duties include rooming patients, taking vital signs, data entry into our EMR system, returning patient phone calls, calling out medications, getting pre-certifications for testing, assisting with medical procedures, etc. Serious inquires only.
