Training & Experience
Christine McDermott MA, CCC/SLP has been specializing in voice for over 17 years. Her graduate work in tracheostomized patients started her career interest in voice. She has expertise in adult and pediatric voice disorders. She is trained in Resonant VoiceTherapy (K. Verdolini) and Vocal Function Exercises (J. Stemple). She has received training in LMRVT-KID, a resonant voice program for children developed by K. Verdolini. She works annually with high school students in the St. Louis area who are part of St. Louis Opera Theatre’s Artists in Training program. She also presents with the Performing Arts Medical Group from Washington University to young musicians about injury prevention.
